Jack Strutz is a Los Angeles-based photographer who began taking photos because his mom thought he’d be good at it, and she’s a bit pushy about these things.

Now, his work focuses on product, still life, and food. He is inspired by weird things from thrift stores and poppy, in-your-face colors, because they are better than colors which are not in your face.

He also operates SOS Photo Studio in the DTLA Arts District with his badass set designer wife, Casha Doemland
